Hello everyone! Our lovely member Holly pointed out that we don't have a title for members (such as rangers or miniskirts etc.), so I've mailed Michele! And she said:
Well, I am simply HONORED you guys have even getting together in the first place - you guys are just so amazing, and sweet, and talented, and the fact that my name is even linked with a group of incredible folks like you.... I'm just blown away!!
I was thinking it might be fun to go with the whole French theme - like maybe a sweet endearment in French?
So I just thought of a few:
1. Chere Amies = Dear Friends (pronounced "Share Ah-mee" although there should be an accent over the 1st E in Chere - a little accent going down to the left - but I can't figure out how to on my keyboard!)
2. Douce Amies or Les Douce Amies = Sweet Friends or The Sweet Friends (pronounced "Doose Ah-mee" or "Lay Doose Ah-mee")
3. Les Cheries = The Dear Ones (pronounced "lay share-ees" and again, there should be a little accent over the 1st E slanted to the left)
or if you wanted to be silly, a sweet endearment is
"Chou" (pronounced shoo) - it means sweetie, even though the technical translation for chou is cabbage!! Ha ha!! but its used like sweetie. It has a few variations, like my grandma used to call me "Ma petit chou" = my little chou, or "Les Chou Chou" = the sweeties or sweethearts
or even something straight forward like: Les Amies de Michele - Michele's Friends!!
I don't know, thats kind of what came to mind at first - it could just be: "Amies" (pronounced Ah-mee) = Friends!!!
or something else brilliant totally different!!! I don't mind at all!! I just love you guys!!
Hope that starts the brain juices flowin!!
Lobve,
Michele
You have untill the August 18th, people ^^
